Camp-O-Ree is an annual event where the Troops in our district (Orange Frontier) meet for a two-night camping experience. It is a time to share and grow through friendly competition games using the skills that each boy as learned while in scouting.
Above is the Eagle patrol assembling a go-cart. This game demonstrated knot tying, organization and team work.
After the go-cart was finished, they raced to the end of the course and back again. The goal was to assemble the cart and finish the race in the shortest possible time.
One of the special events is the Gold Spoon Competition. This is the cooking patrol (The Crazy Greeks) heading to the competition area.
They earned a Third Place.
